Company History

RT Electrical Sales Company was formed by Richard Terry and Bob Taylor in 1976. The agency initially represented Arrow Hart, Federal Signal, Tork and Pringle. The original territory included West Tennessee, North Mississippi and Arkansas. Due to the company's growth, Roger Taylor became the third partner in 1981. Bob and Roger have long since retired. In 2005, RT Electrical Sales expanded its territory to include Central Mississippi and North Louisiana.

After several years with the company as a salesman, Darrell McDaniel purchased the company from Richard in 2008. Richard remains on staff in a sales and consultative role.

We are committed to our distributors and we value our relationships with architects, electrical engineers, electrical contractors, data-com contractors, and the electrical community as a whole. We seek to serve our customer base as efficiently as possible, and we consistently evaluate our methods to ensure that we meet our customer's needs in the most effective manner.
